Penguin

Last month I started a periodical (series of books) called “THE WORLD” . . . And today Nr. 3 came back from the printers. It is called PENGUIN and contains 56 drawings (Which I call comic pages . . . ) containing each 16 penguins. I don’t remember when I actually made these drawings. Somewhere around 2018 I would think.
I keep finding drawings, strips etc. in my archives which I somehow forgot to show you or publish so I’m doing that now in this series of books called “The World” . . . Hope to do one book every month.
Maybe (not so?) soon you can subscribe to this series of publications with old and new stuff but for now I’m only making these little books for my own pleasure.
The first one was called: Single Trees (€ 7,50)
The second one: The Book of Trees (€10,-) and this one is called:
Penguin (What’s new) and is priced: €8,-
So here I am. Once more shamelessly advertising my stuff. I’m not in this business for money. Just producing far too many things (Books and drawings) because I really can’t help myself. By buying these things you won’t make me rich. You will just be provididing me with a tiny capital to publish more of these little books.
To me art can never be about money. Art will always have to be made because of it’s inevitability. To me making art is a way of life. I communicate with you and you communicate with me. And communication is free! You can’t put a price on communication. To make people pay for such an essential thing would be criminal. It would be useless and stupid. We all have to talk to each other always and about everything. We can’t let money decide for us if we speak or speak not.
